Jake Paul has altered the terms of his challenge to UFC kingpin Dana White which includes a fight with Jorge Masvidal.
The YouTube star offered White a fresh wager after the UFC president responded to Paul’s accusation that he uses cocaine by ordering the pair to get drug tested.
Paul gave White five days to accept the offer and vowed to retire from boxing if he is handed a bout with Masvidal in the promotion, in addition to an increase in UFC fighter’s pay and an improvement in their healthcare.
However he has since altered the terms of the offer, tweeting : “Dana last day to accept my offer- you are a good negotiator. In an effort to bridge the gap, I’m willing to reduce my ask to $40K min, 40 per cent revenue for first five years and long term health care.
“Deal? Or are you making another selfie video showing the world how much I’m in your head?”
In the original offer Paul asked for UFC fighters to be handed a minimum purse of $50,000 per fight which has now since been lowered to $40,000 in a bid to push the deal through.
He also asked for UFC fighters to be guaranteed a minimum of 50 per cent of the promotion’s $1 billion revenue but he has now reduced the term to 40 per cent.
However Paul has maintained his pursuit of long-term healthcare for UFC fighters after claiming several “alums” of the UFC are suffering with brain damage.
His latest challenge also suggested that he would retire from boxing providing he is handed a one-fight contract to face Masvidal in the octagon.
Throughout the year, Paul has been calling for White to release his fighters for crossover boxing events including Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.
The YouTube star has been using his growing platform to criticise the UFC president for the treatment of his fighters throughout his rise in boxing.

White quickly shelved the majority of the terms in the offer however but backed his own original demand that Paul was tested for use of PED’s while White was tested for cocaine.
Paul, who has repeatedly denied cheating, later responded to White’s bullish dismissal with a three-minute video rant claiming the UFC president has a “capitalistic” and “greedy” attitude.
Despite being a controversial figure throughout his time in boxing, Paul’s campaign for improved fighter conditions has changed the way many in the sport think about him.
Former UFC champion Robert Whittaker has backed Paul’s proposal for increased healthcare and a financial secure future after competing in the sport.
“It’s hard to say, all the chips are in the company’s playing field. I would certainly love some healthcare,” he told Mirror Fighting .
“I would love that longterm post-fighting career security and I’m sure every fighter would. I would like different things to change.
“But I’m not crying over spilt milk, it is what it is. I’m very blessed to be able to do what I do for a living anyway. Instead of asking for what I don’t have, I’m grateful for what I do have.”
