Katie Taylor is looking to close out a successful 2021 this weekend as she takes on Firuza Sharipova in Liverpool.
The undisputed lightweight world champion has continued to defend her belts after sealing her status with her defeat of Delfine Persoon last year.
And with a potential super-fight against Amanda Serrano being targeted for next spring, Taylor has Kazakhstan talent Sharipova in her way to make it happen.
And the confident boxer is convinced she has what it takes to hand Taylor her first loss as a professional, even enlisting the help of Taylor’s 2012 Olympic final opponent Sofya Ochigava.
