Adele is said to have generated ticket sales of more than $2 million per show for her upcoming residency in Las Vegas.
It was announced recently that the 33-year-old would perform two shows each weekend from January 21 to April 16 at the Colosseum in the Caesars Palace Hotel next year.
Tickets went on sale earlier this week and all 24 dates are said to have sold out, as reported by the Sun – with more than 98,000 tickets reportedly sold for Adele’s residency.
According to Billboard, the singer-songwriter is estimated to have generated more than $50 million in ticket sales – which it said averages at more than $2 million per show.
It reports that tickets went on sale through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform and that prices ranged from $85 to thousands – with the Colosseum having a capacity of 4,200.
The music outlet stated that, at the highest end of the scale, seats in the front three rows of the orchestra section cost more than $5,000 per ticket for the performances in 2022.
It added that the tickets included fees, with Billboard reporting that each show is said to have generated around $600,000 in fee revenue for the venue and Ticketmaster.
The Mirror approached Ticketmaster and a representative of Adele for comment on this story.
It was announced earlier this week that fans would need to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to attend Adele’s residency shows next year. Such attendees will also be required to show proof of a recent negative test.
A statement on Ticketmaster read: “The Event Organiser is requiring all attendees of this event to have been fully vaccinated (14 days past final vaccination shot) AND to have received a negative COVID-19 test within 48-hours of the event.”
Adele is the latest artist to hold a concert residency at the Colosseum, following in the footsteps of iconic performers such as Elton John, Cher, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.
The latter notably had two residencies at the luxury venue in Las Vegas – with her first, ‘A New Day,’ running from 2003 to 2007 and her second, ‘Celine,’ running from 2011 to 2019.
Adele’s residency news comes following the release of her latest album, 30 – which is her first record in six years.

The album, which includes the chart-topping single Easy on Me, received acclaim after it was released last month.
It landed Adele with her fourth UK Number 1 album and generated more than 55 million streams in its first week.
She promoted the album with a CBS special, titled One Night Only, and an ITV concert, called An Evening with Adele – with the latter available to watch on the ITV Hub.
Adele’s 30 is available in both physical and digital versions. You can also listen through music streaming services.
