Emmerdale’s Al Chapman sees his feud with the Dingles escalate later this month, leading to Cain Dingle wanting revenge.
Al managed to convince Chas Dingle and Marlon Dingle to sell him a share of the pub earlier this year, amid their financial woes.
But his big plans for the place have led to disaster, and a falling out with Chas.
He recently tried to seduce her, leading to threats from Marlon and even a kidnapping by Chas’ brother Cain, who has a long-running feud with him.
Al was secretly dating his daughter Debbie earlier this year, lying to her as he lived a double life.
The betrayal, and him later sleeping with her mother Charity, drove her back out of the village.
Meanwhile, fans have been on to Al over his clear plan to sabotage the pub, after cryptic phone calls and recent goings on.
It was confirmed he was secretly trying to turn the pub into luxury apartments, and was in the process of scamming the owners.
But next week, after a frosty atmosphere with Al really pushing Chas’ buttons, things get worse.
Al finally allows Marlon to make some arrangements for the pub, and approves of his drinks promotion for Christmas.
But Al is doing his best to sabotage things once again, deliberately making a mistake in the email that he sent.
Diners are treated to a free bottle of champagne instead of the free glass Marlon intended leaving him mortified.
Al is smug, and quickly sparks speculation to both Marlon and Chas that he is behind it.
Chas is at her wits’ end, and soon finds proof that Al has altered Marlon’s initial promotion to stitch them up.
As Al continues to hand out the free booze, Chas snaps and smashes a bottle against the wall, telling him the promotion is over.
Al continues to wind her up leading to an altercation with Nicola King, and even off-duty officer PC Swirling.
Chas manages to hold it all in long enough to put Al in his place, giving him a piece of her mind, but she’s soon left a trembling wreck.
When Cain finds out what he’s done he’s furious and wants revenge on Al, leading to Swirling getting involved.
Cain continues his murderous threats, wanting Al dead, as the villain remains unfazed – but will Cain take the ultimate revenge?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
