British pop sensation Due Lipa and American boyfriend Anwar Hadid are said to be on the rocks after enjoying the past two years as a couple.
The 26-year-old award winning singer has been in a romantic relationship with 22-year-old Anwar – who is the son of reality star Yolanda Hadid and the brother of models Gigi and Bella Hadid – since 2019.
But fans have become suspicious about the state of the couple’s romance after they failed to be seen together in public for six weeks.
Now sources are claiming the pair are considering their future together and have thus put their romance on ice for the time being.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “The couple floated the idea about putting the brakes on their romance last month as travelling so much and being apart is proving tough.
“Their relationship is going through a crisis and appears to be on the rocks.”
Anwar has hinted all is not well for him as he took to social media to declare everyone should live in the moment and be grateful for what they have.
In a cryptic message shared on Instagram Stories, he wrote: “Feeling grateful for my loved one, friends, family, Allah, and the angels in heaven guiding me 2 learn 2 be happy with myself, sending all of you love on whatever journey your on.
“Be present as much as u f**kin can!! Just be!! As hard as that can be I believe that’s where we learn 2 love the world and ourselves.”
While his romance with Due might be on ice, the star is ensuring he enjoys some time cooling off – as he has gone on a snow sports break.
Anwar has been updated fans via his social media showing himself enjoying the slopes with friends while surrounded by ice and snow.
Due, meanwhile, has been having a time of her own.
Taking to her own Instagram account, the Levitating singer has shared videos of Christmas merchandise and wrapping paper adorned with cartoons of her.
Meanwhile, the star has been experiencing heartbreak of a different nature – as she was left devastated when she was forced to to cancel a major gig due to health concerns.
Dua had been due to perform in New York next week alongside stars such as Lil Nas X and Ed Sheehan at the iHeartRadio KIIS FM Jingle Ball.
Announcing she is pulling out, the star wrote online on Friday: “I’m heartbroken to have to share that I won’t be able to perform at the iHeartRadio KISS FM Jingle Ball due to laryngitis.
“As per my doctor’s orders today, I will need to be on vocal rest for the next few days in order to fully heal.”
She continued: “I am so sorry to all my fans and I’m truly thankful for your understanding. Jingle Ball has a stellar lineup with amazing performances for you all that I’m sure you will enjoy.”
