Manchester United fans have hit back at suggestions Brendan Rodgers could replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United.
The Northern Irishman is among the names linked with the Old Trafford role as pressure mounts on the Norwegian.
United lost 5-0 to Liverpool last weekend as their poor run of form continues, leaving them eight points off the pace in the Premier League.
Solskjaer has been given time and money but is yet to deliver a trophy at Old Trafford and potential replacements are being touted.
Antonio Conte and Zinedine Zidane have been named whilst Rodgers is also an option.
His work at Leicester City has once again raised his profile and he delivered the FA Cup last term.
Only a few weeks ago Rodgers was in the dugout opposite to Solskjaer as the Foxes beat United 4-2.

But with his Leicester side 2-0 down to Arsenal within 20 minutes United fans have reacted angrily to the thought of the Northern Irishman being their next manager.
“The Glazers want Rodgers – just stop,” said one.
“Keep Brendan Rodgers far far away,” claimed a second.
A third added: “Brendan Rodgers should never ever become Utd manager.”
Another said: “0-2 down in 18 minutes and Brendan Rodgers is supposed to be Man United manager.”
Rodgers has twice come close to delivering Champions League football at Leicester, despite their inferior budget in comparison to their rivals.
Prior to being at Leicester he led Celtic impressively for over two years and came close to winning the Premier League at Liverpool.
Rodgers has been quizzed this week on speculation linking him with a switch to Manchester.
He said: “I don’t even think about it – and that’s the brutal honesty. I’m sure the supporters are probably tired of it. At Leicester, there is always a link.

Solskjaer is set to remain in a job despite all the outside noise with United chiefs determined to get to the end of the season before making a decision.
The Red Devils face Tottenham, Atalanta and Manchester City in the next week and poor results could see the situation worsen at Old Trafford.
